This year we are staging the event at The College Street Pavilion 360 College Street Dayton, Va 22821.
Free parking will still be available in the Wilbur Pence Middle School parking lot.

Join us as we participate in The Compassionate Friends Worldwide Candlelight Remembrance Ceremony to honor the memory of our children, Sunday, December 13, 2015 at 7 pm. Plan to gather by 6:30 at River Oaks Church in Harrisonburg (behind the old Shoneys.) Please feel free to bring pictures or mementos of your child/children to place on the remembrance table. We also encourage you to bring family and friends to celebrate your child with you and a snack to share following the ceremony.
Our service will consist of several readings, a song written and performed by Jessie Trainum, and a bereaved sibling dance choreographed and performed by Alaina Erbaugh and Taryn Zander.… Read the rest

The following comes from Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport. ” I wanted to reach out to your organization regarding an opportunity with a non-profit organization called Fly-Hope-Dream. Like The Sadie Rose Foundation, this organization was founded after the terrible loss of a child with the goal of offering support, hope and once in a lifetime flight experiences. Fly-Hope-Dream is beginning a coast-to-coast journey on Thursday and we have been told they will be at the Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport at some point this weekend (depending on how long they are at the first few stops) and hope to offer flights onboard a beautiful 1942 Stearman bi-plane to families in our community who have experienced the loss of a child.… Read the rest

We are so grateful and excited about everything that is happening at SRF! Here are a few things for your calendar.
June 11 we have our regular monthly open house coffee from 9:30-11:30 at our current office location, 206 Main Street.
June 16 we will be preparing the new house at 195 Main Street for some painting and planting as we begin to personalize this location for SRF use.
June 17&18 a local church camp is sending crews out to paint and plant. Feel free stop by and/or pitch in any of these three days.… Read the rest
