2017 Annual Candlelight Ceremony Information

The Sadie Rose Foundation is hosting their 10th annual Candlelight Remembrance CeremonySunday, Dec. 10, at Dayton Church of the Brethren 202 Main Street Dayton at 7 pm.

This ceremony is in conjunction with The Compassionate Friends worldwide candle-lighting to remember children of any age; adult, youth, child, baby, that have died. Guests are invited to bring mementos for the Remembrance Table and refreshments to share following the service.

We will have a slideshow presentation with photos /names/dates of the children we are remembering together. To submit your child’s photo, name, and date, please send a jpeg file to tanya@sadierosefoundation.org.… Read the rest

I had some personal obligations that had taken attention away from SRF at the end of 2016, but am delighted and excited to be back on track, sleeves rolled up, and ready for 2017.

Newsletter and Run/Walk Photos!

Check out details of our annual picnic as well as team names, children walk in memory of, and sponsors in our June 2016 newsletter.

THANK YOU to everyone who sponsored, walked, ran, volunteered, or helped in any way! We raised about $11,000 from this event! That money will go toward our general operating budget so that we can continue to be a resource of support for local people grieving the death of a child.
