Please read for a rare opportunity for our local families! If you do participate, we’d LOVE some photos for the newsletter and maybe some thoughts about what this meant to you!
The following comes from Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport. ” I wanted to reach out to your organization regarding an opportunity with a non-profit organization called Fly-Hope-Dream. Like The Sadie Rose Foundation, this organization was founded after the terrible loss of a child with the goal of offering support, hope and once in a lifetime flight experiences. Fly-Hope-Dream is beginning a coast-to-coast journey on Thursday and we have been told they will be at the Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport at some point this weekend (depending on how long they are at the first few stops) and hope to offer flights onboard a beautiful 1942 Stearman bi-plane to families in our community who have experienced the loss of a child. You can find more information at http://www.fly-hope-dream.org/ and https://www.facebook.com/Fly.Hope.Dream. Interested families can contact Fly-Hope-Dream directly to reserve a flight at firstname.lastname@example.org.” You can also learn more atShenandoah Valley Regional Airport.
