We will be selling food so come hungry!
Presale: 2 cards for $15. You must reserve your presale cards by March 10 to receive to presale price.
$20 for 2 cards at the door. Additional cards can be purchased for $2 at the door.
Money raised from this event will help provide improved support meeting space at our office, grief workshop and scrapbooking space, bereavement/care packages, and general operating costs.
Please contact Regina at 540-810-4351 or email@example.com or Kassandra at 540-810-0307 or firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve your presale cards or to sponsor a game or donate silent auction or raffle items.
We are still looking for sponsors for games. The $100 sponsorship pays for the Tupperware prizes for each game. This is a wonderful opportunity to memorialize your child/children by sponsoring in their memory. The sponsor of each game is listed on the game sheet so for example, Game #3 sponsored by the Harlow Family in memory of Sadie Rose Harlow, born lived and died June 20, 2007. There will also be a remembrance table where you are invited to place a photo of your child/children. Businesses and individuals are also invited to sponsor games and can also do so in memory of someone.
Thank you for making this possible. Because of your continued support, families grieving the death of a child find a community through the Sadie Rose Foundation. And although the grief-journey is a lonely one, no one has to walk it alone. We are grateful for friends like you who help provide this important outreach to our community!

Due to inclement weather, our Candle Lighting Ceremony will be POSTPONED until Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013 at 7 p.m. at Sunrise Church of the Brethren.
Please share this information with your family and friends!
Today, Sunday, is the date of the Worldwide Candle Lighting initiated by The Compassionate Friends. We invite you to still take part in the Worldwide Wave of Light by lighting a candle in your home at 7 p.m. and allowing it to burn for one hour. You can also visit the Compassionate Friends website to leave a message to your child/grandchild/sibling in the memorial notebook read and shared around the world by fellow bereaved families. Whether our children were known only by us in the beginning stages of pregnancy, whether they were born sleeping, or lived to be 3, 30, or 60, they are our children and have forever impacted our lives. Here again is the link for the Worldwide Memorial Notebook.
We invite you to post pictures of your lit candles at home this evening on our Facebook page and share who they are burning for.
In light of this postponement, we WILL have our online community chat this evening at 9 p.m. EST. Here is the link to participate in that.
We will see you WEDNESDAY EVENING, DEC 11th, 7 p.m. at Sunrise Church of the Brethren for our candlelight remembrance ceremony. Stay warm, stay, safe, stay dry!
YOUR SADIE ROSE FAMILY IS REMEMBERING WITH YOU TODAY AND ALWAYS!
As shared in our December 2013 newsletter, because of our Candle Lighting Remembrance Ceremony and the busyness of the season we will NOT be having the First Thursday Miscarriage Support Meeting or the Second Monday Bereaved Parents Meeting or the Fourth Friday Bereaved Family Meeting in the month of December. All meetings will resume their normal schedules in January 2014.
We WILL host the Candle Lighting Remembrance Ceremony on Sunday, Dec. 8th, (detail above) as well as our Second Thursday Informal Coffee. ****NOTE TIME CHANGE – 9:30-11:30 a.m. instead of 10 a.m. – noon. This is a permanent change so mark your calendars for that. We will also host the Weekly Online Support Chat every Sunday night at 9 p.m. EST except for Dec 8th – the evening of the candle lighting ceremony. You can also connect with us on Facebook by searching The Sadie Rose Foundation.
Regina is also available for one-on-one support at the office and via texting, Facebook, and email. Group members are available for peer support via phone, email, and Facebook throughout the holidays. For peer support, click on the “Newsletter” tab. A list of peer support members with their contact information is listed on page 2 of all newsletters.
Although our December schedule varies from typical routine, we are here for you! “Because the path of grief after losing a child should never be walked alone.”
