Whether you’re joining us to walk or run in memory of someone or simply gathering for fellowship at our community potluck picnic afterward, we welcome you with open arms. You do not need to participate in the 5K to attend the picnic.

  • Date: Sunday, September 21, 2025
  • Time: 2:00 PM (Check-in begins at 1:15 PM)
  • Location: Massanetta Springs Camp & Conference Center, by the lake. (Please park in the lot nearest to Rt 33, by the lodge)
  • Picnic: Immediately following the 5K – please bring a dish to share! Drinks and tableware provided.
  • Cost: $25 per individual | $20/person for teams of 4 or more.  Use coupon code Team2025 Please note that teams must register all together to receive the discount. (Registration applies only to 5K participation.   No cost to attend the picnic.  Please bring food to share.)
  • Registration Deadline for T-Shirts: Friday, September 5 at 11:59 PM
  • Final Registration Deadline: Friday, September 19

Honor Your Loved One on Our Memory Wall
As part of this year’s 5K, we invite you to share a special tribute to the person you are remembering. Our Memory Wall will be a beautiful display of photos, poems, stories, and other mementos submitted by participants and community members. This is a meaningful way to celebrate their life and keep their memory alive during the event.

You do not have to participate in the 5K to submit to the Memory Wall—everyone is welcome to share.

Race Perks & Packet Pickup
  • Participants registered by September 5 will receive a commemorative race day t-shirt.
  • Race bibs will be available for those who wish to have their time recorded.
  • Packet Pickup Options:
    • Friday, September 19 from 5–7 PM at The Sadie Rose Foundation Office:
      315 S Dogwood Dr, Harrisonburg (inside First Church of the Brethren)
    • Sunday, September 21 before the race at Massanetta Springs
